Finish Strong

November 29, 2019

We have just celebrated Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday takes place in just a few days, and Christmas and New Years are right around the corner. This is a busy time of year. In addition to the holiday celebrations, I know you are hard at work engaging with donors and making those last few touchpoints. As you wrap up your year-end efforts, I want to offer you some encouragement.

Do not grow weary in doing good.

This is a critical time of year for your ministry but also a beautiful time to truly minister to donors and invite them into God’s call. We know that 31% of all charitable giving occurs in the month of December. And 12% will happen in the last three days of the year. Year-end drives many giving decisions, so continue to stay strong in your efforts.

Be sure you are connecting with donors this month and sharing the stories of impact. Remind them of the good they are accomplishing through your ministry and the role they play in facilitating God’s work. This is about seeing eternity changed and that is a vision worth pursuing.

The work you do matters; here on earth and in the Kingdom of heaven. Finish the year strong!

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Galatians 6:9-10

Let’s celebrate together!

When you flip your calendar to January 1, 2020, let’s celebrate. I want to hear all of the amazing stories from 2019, from how God opened doors to for your ministry to your year-end success, I want to rejoice with you!  Send me an email or a Facebook message. Let me know how your year went.
