The Signatry passes $3 billion in grants facilitated

On August 3, 2020, The Signatry officially has facilitated over $3 billion in grants since beginning in June 2000. This significant milestone represents the dedication of thousands of donors from across the country, committed to revolutionary generosity on a global scale. With a quarterly average flow-through rate of 89%, this milestone for The Signatry community is further proof of the commitment not to hold on to dollars, but to send them out quickly to make a difference in the world.

One of the foundation’s original founders, Frank Brown, is famously quoted for saying when they launched, “I thought if we reached $10 million, we would have done well.” Now $2.99 billion past that amount, it is clear The Signatry community’s passion for the vision to write last checks to solve the world’s greatest problems will only continue to spread.

“Celebrating this milestone of $3 billion is a significant moment for our organization as we honor all God has done,” says Bill High, CEO of The Signatry. “Every dollar represents the values and causes on our donors’ hearts. They are changing the world with their generosity!”

With the $3 billion that has been sent out, it represents a significant impact made on a local, regional, national, and even global basis. Over 10,000 unique charities have been supported through these generous efforts. From building wells in Africa, to caring for a community devastated by a wildfire, to sending a missionary to an unreached tribe, to serving a local school, to building homes for widows, the reach of these grants is far and wide.
